Leicester Made – Free Online Directory

On 25th May 2022 Fashion-Enter Ltd soft launched a new online directory service for the fashion and textiles sector in Leicester. ‘Leicester Made’ is a free to use directory for anyone who would like to source and make in Leicester.
Leicester is at the heart of textiles and garment making in the UK and has a diverse mix of talented and ethically minded businesses. This new directory showcases a selection of these businesses ranging from printers, knitwear manufacturers, fashion houses, manufacturer’s through to fabric, embroidery and label services. Leicester truly offers the full end-to-end supply base for textiles and garment making.
If you are a Leicester textiles or apparel manufacturer you can list your business on the directory to help promote your business to the wider industry. This directory has been made possible thanks to the funding by the UK Government through the Community Renewal Fund supporting the Leicester Textiles Renewal project, managed by Leicester City Council, delivered in partnership with De Montfort University and Fashion-Enter Ltd.
Leicester Made website has been developed and will continue to be managed by Fashion-Enter Ltd, aiming to showcase an initial cohort of 21 Manufacturers, providing easy to read and current data on company registration, compliance standards, specialism, capability such as type of machinery used, the skills level, type of clients, fabrication and average weekly capacity runs with minimum runs highlighted.
Although Fashion-Enter Ltd has taken some steps to ensure the listed businesses meets the required ethical and social compliance standards this can not be guaranteed. Fashion-Enter Ltd strongly suggests that any prospective client to the factories listed within the directory undertakes their own due diligence.

Celebrate Leicester’s vibrant textiles and manufacturing hub with us at the Meet and Greet event on 16th June at Athena in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter.
This is to showcase the fantastic range of manufacturers available in Leicester today – over 40 businesses will be present who’s textiles and garments are Leicester made. The evening event includes a fashion show and will celebrate the Community Renewal Fund programme and the Leicester Textiles Renewal project.
