In the Press: ‘Enter Drapers Sustainable Fashion Champion: Jenny Holloway – UK manufacturer extraordinaire’

To celebrate Fashion-Enter Ltd’s recent Drapers ‘Sustainable Fashion Champion’ Award the industry-established magazine featured an interview with FEL Founder Jenny Holloway. Compiled by Rebecca Thomson the feature, titled; ‘Enter Drapers Sustainable Fashion Champion: Jenny Holloway – UK manufacturer extraordinaire’ discusses Jenny’s ongoing contribution to the industry.
From the Drapers interview…
“There’s an air of unexpected opportunity here,” says Fashion-Enter founder Jenny Holloway, who was crowned Sustainable Fashion Champion 2024 at Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards on 13 March in recognition of her work in promoting ethical manufacturing. “We thrive on the unexpected.”
The atmosphere reflects Holloway’s approach to business. Faced with a drop in manufacturing orders since the cost of living crisis hit in late 2021, Holloway pivoted the business in 2023. From a base of zero in 2023, repairs now account for 50% of revenue, and she expects this to grow to 75% within three years – conversations with brands including Levi’s and Lululemon are ongoing.
This canny commercial instinct, combined with a laser focus on ethics, has enabled Holloway’s business to thrive. And, after nearly 20 years of changing the game, Holloway is still brimming with the ideas and energy that got her to where she is today.

“To the rest of the team in Haringey, Islington, Leicester and Powys – you are awesome! No person is an island and I accepted the award on behalf of us all.
