Getting the Community on Board – The New Designer Emporium North London

Lorna Tavares Brand Manager from Fashion-Enter ltd met with local sewing groups in the North London, Finsbury Park / Islington area regarding the new Designer Emporium boutique, due to open on Fonthill Road, to discuss the benefits for local designers to showcase and sell their work.

Lorna discussed the idea of collaborations within the community to engage and share ideas and skills to create new designs to a commercial standard and provide unique limited-edition products made locally.

The Designer Emporium will also promote up and coming designers on social media with a place to sell and hold events to promote their designs.

A further meeting has been set in October to review ideas and plans to promote designers from this new space currently being refurbished for a soft launch very soon.

The Designer Emporium boutique will be selling local designer products alongside fabrics and haberdashery, and will also offer in-house stitching services.
