From Fabric Waste to Recycled Dog Beds

08-02-2025

Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) is on a mission to ensure every scrap of fabric is recycled and reused to create new, viable materials and resources. As part of FEL’s ongoing circularity initiatives the Factory, Fashion Studio and educational departments have been collecting and saving all fabric waste which has then been passed on to Bright Secure Recycling.

Bright Secure Recycling is a trading name of Adrian Pearson Agencies limited, established in Dec 2004 the company has 20-years of experience working with retailers and brands on their stock exit programs.

The company has a strict policy that 100% of waste collected is recycled and repurposed. The recent collection (September 2024) of mixed fibre scrap fabric from FEL will be processed through; cleaning and sorting, blending, carding, spinning, weaving or knitting and filling. For FEL’s waste fabrics the process will result in products for Bright Secure Recycling’s brand: recodog.

Recodog products include dog beds in a variety of shapes and sizes, carefully crafted from shredded fabric, as well as dog coats and blankets. Bright Secure Recycling have built on a effective and secure, zero-landfill sustainable recycling solution that many well-known brands now use.

FEL’s CEO Jenny Holloway said: “Bright Secure Recycling are experts in textile recycling and can also support with the repurposing of plastics, paper and electrical products too. At FEL we are committed to partnering with companies that are making circularity a reality and have also made big changes within our own company to incorporate repairs and reprocessing orders.”
