Female Empowerment in a Michaela Jedinak Dress

Today, 24th April, will go down in history as the day the first statue of a female in Parliament Square, London was unveiled. The statue of Suffragette leader Millicent Fawcett, who fought for the women’s right to vote 100 years ago, joins 11 other male statues in the square.

British feminist activist and journalist Caroline Criado Perez (pictured below) spoke at the unveiling alongside Prime Minister Theresa May and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. As a result today was also a very proud moment for one of our Fashion Studio clients – designer Michaela Jedinak. Caroline selected Michaela’s made-to-order ‘Cassandra’ body con dress in bold red to wear at this very poignant event. All of Michaela’s designs are produced at Fashion Enter’s ‘Fashion Studio’ in North London by our highly skilled team. A proud day indeed for us all, especially for pioneering women.
