FEL’s Fashion Academy Partnership with CCCG

Since 2001 Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) has been dedicated to providing skills, education, expertise and knowledge. Addressing the skills gap within the production side of the industry resulted in a dedicated Stitching Academy, followed by an all-encompassing Fashion Technology Academy (FTA). 

Leading the way with technical skills and state of the art campuses in Islington, Haringey and Leicester developed into a partnership with Capital City College Group (CCCG) in London.

CCCG recognises that the creative industries is the fastest growing sector in the UK and by partnering FEL can offer a range of technical and practical skills within FEL’s fully equipped FC Designer Workspace located in Islington.

The Level 3 Fashion/Textiles course has grown and flourished by 500% in 3-years and the feedback from students on this course has been excellent. 

Students on the Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design: Fashion/Textiles pathway will typically complete 2.5 days a week of timetabled classes on their course at City and Islington College (CANDI) and have timetabled at 6 hours per week (1 day) at Fashion-Enter for 16 – 18’s and 9 hours per week (1.5 days for 19+ adults).

The Level 3 course provides the opportunity to learn a range of disciplines such as fashion illustration, pattern cutting and sewing skills, marketing, and business studies, and build on the knowledge of traditional and digital printing skills using state-of-the-art digital ethical technologies.
