FEL Invited to LEYF’s Sustainability Partner Meet Up
04-12-2024
Dedicated to high quality, affordable early years education and care, LEYF (London Early Years Foundation), is at the forefront of becoming an environmentally friendly and sustainability driven organisation. Currently LEYF collaborates with 12 like-minded organisations, and that includes Fashion-Enter Ltd.
On 5th November FEL was invited to LEYF’s first Sustainability Partner Morning Tea at their central London headquarters. It was a fantastic way for all the partners to meet and talk about future initiatives as well as celebrate LEYF’s sustainability strategy, introduced by CEO June O’Sullivan MBE, that was successfully implemented last year.
Alongside FEL partners included: Hope, Bikeworks, Cosy, Pura, SalsShoes, Scrubbingtons, The Stem and others.
FEL CEO Jenny Holloway said: “What a great meeting of minds this was, kindly organised by Nick Corlett, Sustainability Manager at LEYF. Together we put the world to rights with regards to becoming carbon neutral and leading to zero carbon footprint within the next two years. It was great to meet everyone.”
Over the past decade FEL has worked with LEYF on:
- LEYF – covers for shoes in towelling
- LEYF aprons and tote bags using deadstock fabric
- A big display of 120 years LEYF patchwork blanket
