22-12-2025

A Year of Progress, Partnership and Purpose

The ASBCI Yearbook 2026 reflects a year defined by collaboration, innovation and meaningful industry leadership across the fashion, textiles and supply chain community. With a packed programme of events, expert insight and forward-looking discussion, the Yearbook captures how ASBCI continues to act as a vital connector across manufacturing, sourcing, technology and sustainability.

A Busy and Impactful Year of Events

Throughout 2025, ASBCI delivered a strong calendar of activity, bringing members together to share knowledge, explore innovation and address key industry challenges. Highlights included the annual ASBCI Conference in October, which once again provided a platform for open discussion between brands, manufacturers, technologists and service providers.

The 3D NEXT LVL partnership event, delivered in collaboration with Alvanon and the University of Manchester, showcased the growing importance of digital product development, fit technology and data-driven design. Meanwhile, the relaunched Fashion the Change webinar series created accessible, practical conversations around sustainability, responsible sourcing and future skills.

Together, these initiatives reinforced ASBCI’s role as a trusted industry voice at a time of rapid change.

Leadership Insight and Technical Expertise

A key feature of the 2026 Yearbook is a series of interviews with ASBCI committee chairs, offering insight into their work over the past year and where they plan to focus their efforts in 2026. These perspectives highlight the depth of expertise across the organisation and the shared commitment to supporting a more transparent, innovative and resilient supply chain.

The Yearbook also includes an essential technical update from incoming ASBCI Technical Director, Steve McDonald of SGS, who outlines the latest developments in EU REACH and what they mean for businesses navigating evolving regulatory requirements.

Fashion-Enter Ltd: Leadership, Manufacturing and Collaboration

Fashion-Enter Ltd features prominently throughout the Yearbook, reflecting its continued influence across UK manufacturing, skills development and ethical production.

An editorial from Jenny Holloway, CEO of Fashion-Enter Ltd, explains her decision to take on the role of Chair of the Apparel & Textile Manufacturers Federation (ATMF). In the piece, Jenny outlines the importance of strong representation for UK manufacturers, improved access to skills and funding, and the need for closer collaboration between designers, brands and production partners to rebuild trust and capability within the sector.

The Yearbook also highlights Leicester Made 2025, which ASBCI proudly sponsored. The event brought together manufacturers, brands, technologists and policymakers to showcase the strength and potential of UK fashion manufacturing, with a particular focus on ethical production, skills and regional growth.

In addition, readers can revisit Jenny Holloway’s fireside chat with Suzanne Ellingham of Source Fashion, delivered at the ASBCI Conference earlier in the year. The conversation explored responsible sourcing, transparency and the growing international interest in UK-based manufacturing, offering valuable insight into how collaboration can unlock new commercial and social value.

Looking Ahead to 2026

The ASBCI Yearbook 2026 not only reflects on a productive year but also looks forward. With continued focus on regulation, digital transformation, skills and ethical manufacturing, ASBCI and its partners are well positioned to support the industry through the next phase of change.

With contributions from leading voices such as Fashion-Enter Ltd and Jenny Holloway, the Yearbook stands as both a record of progress and a call to action, reinforcing the importance of partnership, leadership and shared responsibility in shaping the future of fashion and textiles.
