FEL CEO Now a Member of the Fashion Roundtable Board
24-01-2025
Jenny Holloway, Founder and CEO of Fashion-Enter Ltd, has become a Fashion Roundtable Board member.
Fashion Roundtable is the only think tank dedicated to reimagining a responsible, inclusive and sustainable industry. As the secretariat for the only All-Party Parliamentary Group focused on the fashion industry’s transition towards social justice and sustainable ambitions, Fashion Roundtable is uniquely placed to voice and discuss industry matters at a political and policy level.
Jenny (pictured right) has joined many Fashion Roundtable discussions in Westminster over the years, sharing her expertise in transparency and ethics within the UK supply chain. With over three-decades of industry experience Jenny is thrilled to become a Fashion Roundtable Board Member, she said:
“I’ve been in the industry a long time and I’ve always known the importance of collaborations. Over the years I have joined many organisations and associations as I really wanted to give everything to make our glorious sector of manufacturing and skills succeed.
“I’m often asked to give precious time and free advice to reports, surveys, mapping exercises and concepts, and usually I do. However, over the past few years in particular, I have had so many requests that I have asked for my time to be compensated, or to be a part of resulting programs that have been funded. The reply has been invariably ‘no – there’s no money in the budget’ – yet the workforce seems to expand?
“In addition I have been frustrated by funded programs that take so long to develop that the reports are out of date when launched. Quite frankly I’m sick of the tin shakers that feather their own nest! That’s why I have now joined the board of Fashion Roundtable – a genuine board that is dedicated to the prosperity, ethics and growth of the fashion industry.
“I look forward to a new 2025!”
