Fashion – Enter Ltd Marks International Women’s Day With Attendance at Grow London Event

06-03-2026

On 5th March 2026, Beth Davy-Day, Creative Director at Fashion-Enter Ltd, attended the Grow London International Women’s Day event at Plaisterers’ Hall in London. The event brought together more than 200 founders, investors, government leaders and innovators for a morning of discussion, collaboration and practical action focused on supporting women in business.

Timed to celebrate International Women’s Day and National Women’s Month in the UK, the event featured keynote talks, an AI debate and interactive workshops designed to turn ideas into actionable plans. Speakers included venture capitalist and UKRI Board Member Priya Guha MBE, innovation leader Marta Krupinska from CUR8, and early-stage investor Luna Schmid from Google Ventures, alongside serial co-founder Oli Barrett MBE who led a dynamic challenge workshop focused on creating tangible 90-day action plans.

For the fashion and textiles sector, events such as this are particularly significant. Globally, women represent approximately 80% of the estimated 75 million people directly employed in the garment industry. From designers and machinists to entrepreneurs and innovators, women play a critical role in shaping the industry’s creativity, productivity and future growth.

Beth Davy-Day’s attendance highlighted Fashion-Enter Ltd’s ongoing commitment to championing women across the sector — not only within creative roles but also in leadership, manufacturing, technology and entrepreneurship.

As the industry continues to evolve, platforms such as Grow London provide valuable opportunities to connect female founders with investors, collaborators and support networks, helping to accelerate innovation and strengthen opportunities for women-led businesses.

Celebrating International Women’s Day and National Women’s Month serves as an important reminder that empowering women within the fashion and textile sector is not only about recognition, but about ensuring access to opportunity, leadership and long-term career development across the entire supply chain.
