On 1st October 2025, Fashion-Enter Ltd proudly participated in the high-level Dialogue on Driving UK-Ghana Trade Growth in the Garments Sector, held in London as part of the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (UKGCC) Garments & Textiles Roadshow 2025. Represented by its CEO, Jenny Holloway, Fashion-Enter Ltd joined key stakeholders, industry leaders, and UK-based fashion buyers to explore strategic trade opportunities between the UK and Ghana’s growing textile and apparel sector.

This dialogue was a core highlight of the Roadshow, which began on 29th September, and was delivered in partnership with the UK Government’s Jobs for Economic Transformation (JET) Programme (Ghana) and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).
The Roadshow aims to strengthen bilateral trade, promote sustainable practices, and position Ghana’s garments and textiles industry as a viable and competitive player in global markets. Fashion-Enter Ltd’s participation reflected its ongoing commitment to ethical manufacturing, skills development, and creating international collaborations that empower emerging markets.
“As a UK-based social enterprise and ethical garment manufacturer, we understand the value of partnerships that promote sustainability, skills development, and innovation across borders,” said Jenny Holloway. “Ghana’s textile sector holds tremendous potential, and we are proud to be part of conversations that help unlock it.”
Following the dialogue session on the 3rd October Fashion-Enter Ltd hosted a Capacity Building Seminar at its North London headquarters, offering delegates from Ghana an in-depth tour of its state-of-the-art micro factory facilities. The seminar was designed to showcase best practices in ethical and innovative garment production, and provided valuable insights into how UK manufacturers are embracing sustainability, digitisation, and circularity.

Delegates were introduced to:
- Maeknit: an on-demand seamless knitwear system revolutionising sustainable garment production
- Style3D: a cutting-edge virtual design and sampling technology reducing waste and lead times
- Repair and repurposing stations: part of Fashion-Enter’s ongoing circular fashion initiatives to extend garment lifecycles and reduce landfill

The tour also offered a real-time look into Fashion-Enter’s training academy and apprenticeship programme, which equips learners with industry-ready skills in garment construction, pattern cutting, digital design, and more.
This immersive experience served as a powerful example of how technology and sustainability can co-exist with social impact, providing a model for Ghanaian stakeholders to consider as they develop national strategies for the garment and textile sector.
The overall Roadshow was designed to:
- Facilitate $10M+ in potential export deals by connecting Ghanaian manufacturers with UK/EU buyers
- Boost Ghanaian exports by leveraging duty-free access under the UK-Ghana Trade Partnership Agreement (UKGTPA)
- Address sector gaps including standardised sizing, testing facilities, and workforce development
- Promote sustainable production models and increased local content
With Ghana’s garment and textile sector contributing $150 million annually to the economy and employing over 25,000 people, many of them women, the country is looking to expand its international footprint while building robust local capacity. The Roadshow aligns with Ghana’s broader vision under the 24-Hour Economy, Accelerated Export Development Initiative, and upcoming National Textiles and Garments Policy.
“We were honoured to welcome Ghanaian stakeholders to our facilities and share insights that can help shape the future of fashion in both countries,” added Jenny Holloway. “The exchange of ideas and innovation is vital for real transformation.”
