National Apprenticeship Week is co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service and is ‘designed to celebrate Apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals and businesses’.

Now in its sixth year, National Apprenticeship week is all about raising the profile off Apprenticeships amongst Individuals, Teachers, Parents, Employer’s and the Media

‘Apprentice’s Deliver’ is the Theme for National Apprenticeship Week which is a key part of the New Era for Apprenticeships. It is about demonstrating how apprentices can deliever for both employers and individuals in a positive way whilst showcasing the quality of the apprentices and the contribution they will make to the employer’s success.

The aim it to show how an apprenticeship programme helped to develop young people as individuals and how proud the country’s employer’s are of their apprentices.

Last year the National Apprenticeship Service launched a New Era for Apprenticeships to underline the commitments it has made. This included the introduction of new Higer

Apprentrenticeships in desirable careers, as well as taking action on raising the standards by placing qualitiy at the forefront to encourage more employer’s to offer Apprenticeships and more young people to take them.
