Congratulations to All Newly Elected MP’s!

Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) would like to congratulate all members of parliament that have won their seats in a dramatic 2024 UK general election. 

As a social enterprise working with local council’s and MP’s we keep channels of discussion open to relay the reality of what is happening in the fashion and manufacturing industry, and to discuss possible ways forward.

This election has produced a landslide result for Keir Starmer and the Labour government, FEL would like to congratulate the Labour Party and Lord Young of Norwood Green, FEL’s Patron and long term supporter of apprenticeships, UK trade and small businesses. 

Also a special mention for Jeremy Corbyn who has won Islington North, the constituency he has represented for three decades, however this time he has been elected as an Independent MP. Jeremy has shown consistent support for the FC Designer Workspace and FC Designer Collective, bringing training and opportunities to local individuals and businesses.

Make UK, The Manufacturers Organisation, has released a general election manifesto and tool kit to highlight the key issues that the new government will need to tackle in order for the industry to develop and thrive.
