9 Exciting Opportunities with Ralph & Russo

11-02-2025
High fashion house Ralph & Russo was founded by Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo in 2010. The British based brand rapidly became established in fine elegance and luxury and present haute couture, bridal, ready-to-wear, luxury goods and accessories collections.
In 2015, the brand opened its first boutique in Harrods and has since launched its flagship premises in the heart of Mayfair in London, with a second on Rue Francois 1er, Paris. These were followed by another store in Dubai and more prominent global destinations are due to open soon including New York, Miami and Monte Carlo.
The brands eye for exquisite detail and luxury craftsmanship has not gone unnoticed by clients and industry alike. Ralph & Russo became the first British brand to be elected in almost 100 years by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture to show its collection on the official schedule at Paris Haute Couture Week. The Chambre Syndicale’s former president, Didier Grumbach was quoted as saying: “We expect savoir faire, which is being lost, and they Ralph & Russo have it.”
Female creative directors showing at Paris Haute Couture Week are extremely thin on the ground and Tamara Ralph is one of only three currently on the official schedule. For their SS16 couture show the design house created haute couture history by showcasing a wedding gown that was so big it needed six atelier staff to turn it at the end of the catwalk. The embroidery alone for the bridal gown took over 50 couturiers and 6,000 combined hours to create.
From the very start the brand has attracted a loyal and often high profile following. Notable clients include Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Penélope Cruz and of course, the lady of the moment; Meghan Markle. Meghan wore Ralph & Russo for her official engagement photographs to Prince Harry and speculation was high that she would be wearing the label once again on the big day.
To work with such a successful and inspirational brand would no doubt provide an exceptional and unique opportunity. We are therefore excited to announce that we are now looking to recruit and train nine apprentices to be based at the Ralph & Russo atelier. Roles range from pattern cutting to garment technology to couturier apprentice.
