Newsletter 6th April 2016
Dear all,
Back in November when we officially launched the Fashion Technology Academy (FTA) training facility in North London we joined forces with Looksgreat.co.uk, a new concept in online shopping. In line with the Looksgreat.co.uk – New Designer category we collaborated to present a catwalk showcase of ten up and coming designers and as of this week the Looksgreat.co.uk website has officially launched. You can now search, pin, share and buy all the items featured and also view the designs presented in our collaborative fashion show from the likes of RIXO, Yu Universe, Riona Treacy, Kirsteen Stewart and CWS Couture amongst other names to watch.
JoJo Iles, editor of FashionCapital.co.uk comments: “The FashionCapital team really enjoy working on collaborative projects that gives an extra boost for up and coming designers. We know how hard it is for a new designer to get stocked and to gain exposure and we applaud Spencer and his team for giving them a platform in amongst an established market. We wish them the best of luck with the launch of this new online concept and we encourage the industry to get involved and become part of Looksgreat.co.uk community.”

This week in the studio we are working with the lovely Petra from EINE, her brand specializes in luxurious loungewear for women.

Petra tells us more about EINE and how the brand developed: “We offer an elegant perspective on dressing comfortably in the home. Our designs embody an elegant, easy to wear style that enhances the female body in its sensuality. EINE’s approach allows the wearer a comfortable and graceful allure.
“The brand comprises of a range of garments from luxurious kimonos and kaftans to floating skirts and dresses to easy-to-wear tops and trousers. A lot of attention has been given to the garments’ wearing comfort, making them sensual, flattering and beautiful to wear. EINE Loungewear is designed to fit a large range of female body shapes and is kept timeless and graceful in the design to enhance women’s natural beauty.”
With mentorship from David Jones EINE changed from tailored fetish wear to the product now on offer.
“EINE started the sampling process with the factory of Fashion Enter in December 2016. The friendly and professional Fashion Enter team has been very accommodating and easy to work with. Boutique Pick of the Week
We’ve been enjoying the Looksgreat.co.uk online experience and it’s exciting to see these new labels getting the exposure they deserve. For our boutique pick this week we have selected this chic, lightweight silk dress by the vintage-inspired label RIXO. This particular dress (right) was designed with the Olsen twins in mind and ticks several summer trend boxes while looking effortlessly fabulous.
