How to Succeed in Fashion Today Seminar Amendment
The popular How to Succeed in Fashion Today seminar will now take place on Tuesday 12th July not the 6th as previously planned.
Sharing their industry knowledge, we have an incredible line up of speakers confirmed including:
 Jenny Holloway, CEO of Fashion Enter.
Nick Gould, Solicitor/Partner of Gunnercooke, London.
Mark Dodd, Fabric Technician and consultant for ASOS.com, Charlotte Tilbury and Oliver Spencer.
With additional guest speakers Gabrielle Shiner-Hill (pictured right) and Sofia Hinkley.

Our CEO Jenny Holloway has just returned from the TCBL 2-day conference in Huddersfield where she spoke about new trends, consumer choices and customisation, the environment and new technologies alongside introducing her company and how she plans to take it forward in today’s fashion and manufacturing environment.
29th June – 2nd July – New Designers, Business Design Centre, Islington
The FashionCapital team will be reporting on this innovative showcase of 3,000 brilliant individuals, that provides an essential pipeline of new talent into the UK’s creative industries.
Starting 27th June – Wimbledon
We’ll be following the style both on and off court at the UK’s biggest tennis tournament.
 28th – 29th June – Fashion SVP
Fashion SVP held at Olympia, London, on the 28th and 29th June is a trade event where visitors can see all that manufacturing has to offer, from full-service knitwear and jersey wear production to high quality sewing services, design and pattern cutting services, materials testing and technical services. Jenny Holloway has also been invited as a guest speaker at the events popular seminar sessions.

2nd July Tottenham Conference 2016
This year’s exhibition will bring together community groups and businesses working in Tottenham. Visitors will be able to find out about everything from volunteering, to job opportunities and developments underway. Fashion Enter will be there so please do come and visit our stand.

4th August and 25th August – Perfect Patterns Open Days
Want to learn more about our highly successful Perfect Patterns course? Then come along to our open day. The Fashion Technology Academy will be holding 2 drop-in open days for potential learners to meet with Perfect Patterns tutor Alice Prier and learn more about the course.
There will be hands-on activities, which attendees can engage in to help them learn more about patterns and what the course can offer them.
The first will be Thursday 4 August from 10-2.
The second will be Thursday 25 August from 10-2.

As an aside the charity wishes to hear from employers and employees who can help refer families within the industry, who are experiencing financial difficulties. In particular those affected by the changes at BHS and Austin Reed, who may need help during this difficult time. FashionCapital’s editor, journalist and social media marketing assistant all sat for the talented fashion illustrator Michalis Christodoulou. And Dr Lisa Orban advises on creating a personal brand to ensure your business stands out.
