Was Easter good for you all? It seemed to go in a haze of chocolate Easter eggs (consumed in copious amounts by yours truly) and hyper active children for me!  Works not so bad after all!

FashionCapital still received an amazing hit rate through the Easter period so many thanks to all the users out there.

At the beginning of April the revamped trends section will go live and we are delighted to announce the following additions to the site

Key Trend Summary

Moodboards

Silhouettes

Colour

Fabrics

Fashion Focus

Designer Labels

Trimmings et al

Many thanks to Caroline Shaw for all the work that is being currently undertaken, the first fashion focus, – the Gypsy Dress has received an exceptionally high hit rate on the moodboard section.

We also received a high hit rate on the silhouette icon too and when you see Vanessa’s amazing drawings edited by Caroline you can see why!

We have received a strong response to the afternoon tea with Lord Andrew Stone. This is your chance to see the House of Lords and have an update with Lord Stone ex main board director of Marks and Spencer’s for Ladieswear. The date is Wednesday May 18th 2005 so please make sure you send your emails in to lordandrewstone@fashioncapital.co.uk

i.e. 50 words on why you would like to visit the House of Lords.

Are there any budding journalists out there that would like to report on their country’s fashion trends? It’s great to have Cassandra reporting from Canada, Rachel Schwab from Toronto, Siriolo from Japan and Cheryl Nowark from New York but wouldn’t it be great to have fashion reports from other countries too – uniting the fashion world together! I could get carried away here but I am trying to restrain myself!

Until next week. Kind regards to you all.
