You know what it’s like when you are putting your new collection together! You can see the range developing in your minds eye but its lacking that certain va va voom! Well helps now at hand at the museum section.

When I worked as both a buyer and a designer I trawled through magazines, the web, and exhibitions looking for anything to provide some inspiration. So the merry band at LFF and FashionCapital put their heads together to design The Museum. This new section is being soft-launched today with grateful thanks to the British Library, Marquise.de and Beth Ward from The Museum of London; The London look: Fashion from street to catwalk. In particular we would like to highlight all the hard word from Carol Mead (Marketing Media Manager), Nigel Spencer (Research and Business Development manager) and Rory Mcleod (Imaging Services Manager). There are more exciting developments in the pipeline so ….watch this space!

We have been inundated with designers for Bluewater project … hardly surprising I know. As you can appreciate this is a large undertaking for the LFF and we have to ensure that all project parameters are clearly defined. We are now working on proposal for Director and chair David Jones and our funders the London Development Agency. Fingers crossed that we can ALL go forward this exciting opportunity.

Finally a mention to our Legal Eagle Nick Fenner. Nick has been promoted to a partner at Fladgate Fielder based at 25 North Row, London W1K 6DJ. Many congratulations Nick. Nick has also kindly agreed to take over the legal section on the FashionCapital section providing legal newbites, questions and answers and many more snippets of information your business requires. This new Legal Eagle section will be launched within the next two weeks!
