Profile Fashion Designer at LFW and in the Sunday Mail
Profile designer, Alice Palmer, showcased at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout on Sunday at LFW. Alice is really flying at the moment and has recently been featured in both the Sunday mail and the London Lite.
Last season the Profile fashion event debuted in New York City where 35 British based designers showcased their collections to the New York Fashion Scene and Alice was one of those designers. Sponsored by asos.com, four of the designers were awarded prizes by asos and were subsequently sold on the leading etailer. asos.com chose Alice and as a result this article in the Sunday Mail was published.
Lorena de la Torre
FashionCapital also went along to Lorena de la Torre’s exhibition at LFW this season. Lorena joined Alice in New York as one of the British based designers to showcase in New York City at Profile. Since then Lorena has gone from strength to strength and we were delighted to see her exhibiting during LFW

As FashionCapital.co.uk is breaking into the educational sector with a storm, we were invited to a Diplomas Event for Employers at London South Bank University in the Keyworth Centre yesterday. The purpose of the event was to enlighten organisations of the benefits and how to get involved with diplomas. With key note speakers including Elaine Davis from Edexcel and success stories from Skanska and Wates the event was a great success. The Diploma scheme is an exciting new initiative for students attending school or college aged 14 – 19 years old to achieve a form of qualification whilst gaining real industry experience and assisting the growth and progression of the organisation providing the placement.

Speed Step Learning Section Makeover
One of our CAD/CAM Software providers, for the educational courses held at the Workshop, Speed Step has opted for a selection of advertising opportunities available on FashionCapital.co.uk within our extensive Learning section. Utilising the power of online advertising is becoming an increasingly essential marketing tool to increase exposure directly to specific target markets. The once favoured opportunities provided by national broadsheets, local papers and even via television now have nowhere near the same impact as the internet which is replacing these information streams and could cause their extinction one day. If you wish to reach FashionCapital’s 80,000 plus users each month and see your customer base build exponentially please contact Emily@fashioncapital.co.uk for further information and see the results straight away.
