Filmed at the Enter Boutique on Monday it always amazes us how much footage was shot for a brief two minute clip. The main thrust of the item was to gain support and momentum for London to have its own .LDN registration as opposed to .co.uk or .com. It was great to talk about why our overseas designers want to come to London and of course, give FashionCapital and FashionEnter a good shout out in the process.

Enter Designers at Huge PR Launch

Also on the marketing and promotional side a few of our Enter designers recently showcased some of their products at the Huge PR launch party. We would like to say well done to Bethanie Lunn, Huge PR MD, for such a successful event. Beth has been advising and supporting new designers at Enter over this past year and has recently opened a London office in the o-so-stylish Covent Garden. The party attracted a fantastic crowd of industry players giving the designers on show some great exposure.

Commenting on the party Bethanie Lunn MD said:

“This was our first official event in London as a London based PR Company and it went incredibly well. We had a great turn out of glamorous people and press and such positive feedback on the night and post event. I felt it acted as a good showcase for what we can do along with promoting our clients ranges to the right people and providing excellent networking opportunities for all involved.  Due to the feedback, I feel there is a definite demand for more of these events and will be creating seasonal press days, offering four per year for our clients, affiliates, media and industry alike.”

Kingston & Bentalls

Also a big congratulations to the winning Kingston College students from the 60s inspired t-shirt competition for Bentalls Urban Lounge.

A launch party for the T-shirt range will take place on Thursday 24th May at the Urban Lounge area of Bentalls, Kingston. Commencing at 7pm the whole range will be displayed and all students, customers and press are invited to attend.

Fashion Events Galore 

There are also plenty of events to tell you about this week. Tomorrow sees the launch of a new monthly hosted by Kyzar-Entertainment. On show will be the A/W 07/08 collection from Jerry Ribbon along with an indulgent visual experience provided by Couture Clubbing. The ITV show Deadline! has confirmed that they will be attending with their camera crew.

There’s an exciting new launch in the shape and form of Plastique, a new style mag that promises to offer something different to the plethora of celeb obsessed rags out there. Plus the London College of Fashion is putting on a week long event called “Is Green the New Black?” The event includes debates, workshops, clothes swaps, talks and wraps up with The Eco-Design Fair which is open to all on the final day.
