Hello All,

It’s an exciting time here at FashionCapital as we countdown to the launch of the new look site and Profile 8. Yes, it’s all happening next month and the new look site is coming together rather nicely. After years of add-ons and changes Yoel, the FC webmaster, is creating an all new and improved FC while incorporating new design changes at the same time. We always listen to user feedback so those with any site gripes now is the time to e-mail JoJo, our editor, at jojo@fashioncapital.co.uk

Fashion Frocks

Fashion has been big news over this past week what with the glitzy Fashion Rocks event in support of the Prince’s Trust attracting a celeb fest of a turn out. All eyes were on Kate Moss, who turned up with Sir Philip Green, and her flapper inspired frock dripping in 60,000 Swarovski crystal beads. We are not ones to brag here at FC but we’ve been advocating the flapper look as a strong party dress contender for months now – check out our trend section.

On FC this Week…

Jaeger scoop up The Evening Standard Window Display Award 2007 and is our featured Window of the Week. Creative Director of Melt London, Susan Royston asks why in fashion we constantly look back, when surely, forward is the way to go. Designer Deborah Henning showcases her S/S 08 range on the FC rotating gallery and Arabella Miller promotes her organically printed kids t-shirts in the presszone section.
