Her Majesty’s visit to Bromley town Centre

Following the Royal visit to Queen’s Gardens and The Glades Shopping Centre in Bromley last week the feedback from participants has been fantastic. We are now looking at recreating the heritage display with leading LFW designers for the opening of the ‘London Garments Expo in association with Profile’ event in August in line with the Olympics!

Take a look at just some of the comments received:

‘Thanks for the invite! It was a pleasure to take part’ PPQ

‘Well the day seemed to go very smoothly, so thank you for making it all so effortless!!’ Pearce Fionda

Thank you for the email and everything you did for us, it was a lot for you to do. I really enjoyed the day, so exciting meeting Her Majesty, I handed her a posie,  of I believe  some of her favourite flowers, and she gave me her hand, I did not think this would happen, I was so surprised I did not hear what she said to me about the flowers, but just smiled, I am sure she must have thought I was deaf? Although I was on the Queens side, After the Queen had moved on, Prince Philip turned around to me, as he was leaving the opposite pod and said “are you selling something?” I was rather surprised at this but answered quickly “yes, we are trying!” he laughed turned back in the original direction he was going and walked on, great fun!

Thank you once again for inviting us; it was really amazing that I was part of the Jubilee celebrations.’ Sheila Harding – Boa Boutique

‘Just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for the fabulous day yesterday – it was such an honour to be with Alice as she met the Queen and also be introduced – it was such a fabulous day. I also wanted to pass on my congratulations as you produced the most fantastic day and experience for the designers – I hope that you got chance to really enjoy it too.’ Alison Low – Felicities

New Online Boutique Launched!

The FCBboutique team is proud to present the latest store launched on the Fcbboutique.co.uk

Cyd & Emma is a unique childrenswear brand using gorgeous retro prints to create classic shapes for girls and boys.

Designer Emma explains the brand

‘When I was a little girl in the 70’s my mother lovingly handmade all my clothes. When I had my beautiful daughter, Cyd, I decided to follow in my mother’s footsteps.  I wanted to give Cyd clothes that I was lucky enough to enjoy as a child – fashionable, practical and comfortable.
I wanted to give the range a cool retro edge, so I researched and sourced many striking fabrics that aren’t traditionally synonymous with children’s clothing.’

The online store has launched this week and is available to shop now!
