Hanging it all together for the fashion industry

NEWSLETTER

I can hardly believe that over a week has gone by since the last newswire….so much has happened in the last five days not least the exciting development at Bluewater.

The LFF have been offered a unit by the Management Team at Bluewater to showcase up to 40 talented designers. For more INFORMATION regarding this new initiative please click here  Just imagine you could be selling your collection in the premier shopping mall in Europe!

We are also liaising with various contacts regarding a showroom in Los Angles – we are only in the beginning of conversations but signs look promising for launch next year. As information is forthcoming we will keep you posted and many thanks to Sarah Runge for all the exciting conversations that have been held so far.

The new Museum section will officially soft launch next week. We are delighted to announce three new sections on this part of FashionCapital – there will be a picture gallery, an exhibition space plus a listing of books available for “learning”. This is all due to a unique collaboration with the British Library and, as we liaise, Carol Mead is organising the indexing of pictures for fashion through the ages…..a fantastic source of inspiration for all designers at all levels of their business development. Also many thanks to the Marquise.de site for the images available so far.

Finally, a big thank you to all of you. The Fashion Capital site is set to surpass the 2 million hit mark for October so please keep the feedback going – its great to be working for such on such an exciting site that is growing so rapidly.

All the best for next week.

Kind regards as always.
