as a new retailer sponsor. Whistles appeals to the confident woman of today and provides a perfect fit to the Profile 6 designers. Whistles is a brand of the Mosaic Fashion empire which includes Coast, Oasis and Karen Millen. Amanda Burrows, Brand Director, and Hannah Russell, Group Marketing Director, has offered full support and naturally we are ecstatic to have their support for the New Designer Award which spans across both ladieswear and accessories.
In addition we are delighted to announce the Huw Penny Tribute Award. A few weeks ago we announced the dreadfully sad news that Huw Williams, Marketing Director of Welsh Clothing and Textile Association, had regrettably passed away. Huw was a very strong supporter of Profile and supported each event as a true partner. In continuation of that unique collaboration WCTA will continue to be a main line partner to the Profile 6 event plus they are offering a £3,000 cash prize to a designated designer. The winner will be announced at the Gala performance on 21st September 2005.
