						Hello All,

						Slowly but
surely the FashionCapital team are recovering from the full-on festivities of
London Fashion Week. How press and buyers do the entire international circuit
we do not know! Anyway, we hope you have been enjoying all our coverage live
& direct from the event. We will compile an insightful 08/09 trend report
in due course, but in the meantime check out this gem of an interview with
						On/Off Creative Director Lee Lapthorne.

						Fashion Spotlight Milan

						This week
Milan is under the fashion spotlight so we’ll be keeping an eye on the latest
from those luxury power brands. It was interesting to see that designers
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have spoken out about the increasingly
overcrowded schedule during the course of the week. Apparently Milan will be
hosting 103 catwalk shows over 8 days! Surely industry restrictions have to be
enforced here? What do you think? Post up your views on the FashionCapital
						forums.

						New in on ‘Learning’

						As you may
well know FashionCapital isn’t all about show reports and trends, we are
dedicated to the educational and business side of the industry as well. New in
on the Learning section is a nineteen part guide covering textiles technology
aimed at students at GCSE level. The guide is a fantastic online resource which
has taken months to compile by Abigail Stephenson.

						Judith
Turnbull has spent time looking at FashionCapital with her Year 10 students she
						commented:

						“It is
unusual to have full access to such future trend information. The 'learning'
section has many helpful and relevant links for students studying
fashion/textile course including GCSE and beyond. The website is easy to
navigate, quick to download links and is full of up-to-the-minute events. It is
a one-stop-shop for new or aspiring fashion designers and it will certainly be
on the top of my suggested website resource list for students. I wish I had
						discovered it sooner.”

						Forum Action

						The forums

request for a pattern-cutter – to a new fashion label looking for a
photographer and make-up artist. Want to add your fashion voice then log-in and
