I really want to recognise the LFF team too…..you have no idea how much work goes into that event. There are only four of us in the office and we are not event managers but I am beginning to think we should be!! Right down to the flowers, the badges, the floor plan EVERYTHING is produced and developed in-house. We have the best team anyone could ever wish for – dead proud of you all!

Also a big thank you to PRactice (Isabella Blow and Gerry DeVaux was so the right choice!!) Contenda and Michelle Morton Banks too. As for Helen and Paul at Rah….what can we say? Fantastic! Thank you all.  At the end of the day it’s the team that counts and we were blessed with some fantastically creative individuals working on Profile 6 this season…now what about Profile 7!

 Gerry DeVaux

We had a jolly time at LFW last week. We were on stand A10 (last minute change sorry for the confusion) and we managed to give out over a 1000 Profile 6 Look Books…they were snapped up. We shared our stand with our sister company London Apparel Resource Centre and Centre for Fashion Enterprise. We also flew the flag for On/Off and Clarkenwell Green too.

As always the LFF is hatching away at a new scheme. We are now working with The Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce.

Ever fancied exporting to the highly lucrative Netherlands? Well here’s your chance to find an insiders guide to export the right way. We are looking for two ladieswear, two menswear and two accessory designers that are happy to participate in an exchange programme. The programme is for the end of October and the six UK designers will only have to pay for their flights to the Netherlands. The reciprocating Netherlands Designers will put up the UK designers and give them an expert guide to the markets of Netherlands and consequential contacts too. In return the Netherlands Designers will come and visit the UK w.c. 14th November. The exchange will be for an intensive three days low cost but action packed. Interested? How can you not be? Please send an email to info@londonfashionforum.com  to register your interest.

We are now working on the latest LFF magazine which has now been subcontracted to our talented head journalist Jo Iles…hold on to your hats…it’s going to be a biggie!! 32 pages of news, views, trends and friends…

So what do you think of the new FashionCapital improvements? So many times we have been asked for information regarding other business support organisations situated throughout the UK. Now on a specially created unique web ring you have this information at your finger tips…

In response to demand we have also opened up the business issues section too and we have now included the following information for you
