Dear all,

Perfect Party Dress on ITV’s This Morning!

It was fantastic to see FashionCapital on ITV’s flagship daytime TV show This Morning! The Perfect Party dress has now come to an end with the public voting for their favourite dress out of the final three. A huge congratulations to Stephen Arthur whose stunning red, floor length dress won the public over and will now be produced in the Fashion Studio and sold across selected John Lewis stores.

Hoxton Street Market – 20th October

Hoxton Street Market will see over 20 up and coming designers from Fashion Enter selling their designs this Saturday at the popular East London market.

The day’s intention is to create a wider fashion event to promote the area’s fashion sector alongside the vibrancy of Hoxton Market, which is home to many up-and-coming designers and artists selling clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery and antiques. The market’s strong links with fashion and creativity has given it a new lease of life in recent years with Saturday being its busiest day.

The market is open from 09.00– 17.00 on Hoxton Street this Saturday, 20th October.

Good luck to all designers trading this Saturday!

Joy of Clothes

Here is the next instalment from Joy of Clothes, who will also be talking at the seminar tomorrow.

How to look and feel younger by choosing the colours which flatter your eye, hair and skin colour.

Colour is individual, natural, magnetic, influential, emotional, therapeutic and joyful and the emotions it stirs are a vital part of a woman’s beauty and charm. Everyone is different – hair, skin and even eye colour change constantly with the play of light and shade, and these nuances mean that every woman can possess a colour of her very own, one as personal as her signature. Women who understand colour look more interesting, more in control, more confident, more self-assured and ultimately more attractive. These women have more personality in their looks, because they have created their own colour signature.

‘The best colour in the whole world is the one looks good on you’ Coco Chanel
