Dear All

Celeb Spot – Girls Aloud star dons Fashion Capital designer skirt!

The UK's number one glamorous girl group of the noughties looked fabulous on the Paul O'Grady Show singing their latest single "I don't speak French". Not only are the gorgeous Girls Aloud ladies famous for their music but we have also become accustomed to relying on the frivolous five for key style advice and it's clear to see why. In a consortium of high waisted skirts, Sarah Harding's geometric retro approach is in a league of its own and can be found in our very own Enter Boutique in Croydon! Whereareyounow? is the label behind the retro number.

Stephen Timms MP Visit to Enter Boutique

Last Friday saw a very successful event held at the Enter Boutique in Barking. Having launched Fashion Capital in 2001 the Rt. Hon Stephen Timms, MP for East ham, Minister of State for employment and welfare reform, visited the boutique in a celebration of our progression. Deeply impressed and not at all inclined to dash off, the Minister was glad to listen and talk at depth with the assembled group of students, designers and dignitaries.

"I am delighted to be here today, and impressed by the quality of the goods Fashion Enter is offering. London is today the world's leading city – a centre for enterprise and for art and design which draws gifted people from all over the world. It is great to see so many young and talented designers being given a chance, encouraged and supported by Fashion Enter as they make their way in the fashion industry. The fashion business offers great opportunities. I commend Fashion Enter for providing a vital support network for young designers, and in doing so, giving London fashion a boost. I wish you all great success." Stephen Timms MP for East ham, Minister of State for employment and welfare reform.

Local newspapers Barking Post and Barking Recorder were both on hand to cover the event and even BBC Online have confirmed their coverage.
