Dear all,
The Art of Fashion
Last night The Art of Fashion took place at the W1 boutique in Portman Village.
British Designers at FashionCapital hosted an exclusive private viewing of a series of up and coming fashion illustrators. The showroom basement was transformed into a chic gallery space whilst the boutique housed key LFW designers as well as new and emerging designer talent.
An impressive guest list ensured an electric atmosphere with admiration for both the art work and the boutique itself. The event bought together artists, designers, press and industry experts all under one roof and really put British Designers at FashionCapital on the map!

British Designers at Fashion Capital – Bath
It’s been another busy week at the Bath branch of British Designers@FashionCapital. We’ve had quite a few journalists dropping in to see what the boutique is all about and it’s always great to see positive copy on the concept in printed publications. Our latest tearsheet comes all the way from Northern Ireland – En Vie Magazine featured Bath in it’s travel section and quoted our boutique as a “hidden gem” and of course were thrilled that local girl Zoe Boomer was included in our designer mix.

We’ve also had Eloise Atwell in this week, a local designer and seamstress, Eloise has created a dress out of origami pieces of paper. In celebration of London Fashion Week while addressing the recycling issue – the dress is indeed a work of art and Eloise plans to add further pieces to her design in the coming weeks.

Until next time, we wish you a stylish week.

Yesterday we headed over to Earls court to catch the final day of the Pure Trade show. This year Pure was bigger than ever showing over 1,100 designers spread over two venues and hosting two brand new catwalks. We managed to introduce ourselves to a couple of designers who had great interest from UK and international buyers bagging themselves a number of different orders.
