Well the vibe on the street is that Profile 5 is the EVENT of the season!Thexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx offical dates xxxxxxxxxxxxxx at the ever prestigious Old Billingsgate Market.


 


 



 


 



 


 



 




 


WE are blessed with the outstanding support of House of Fraser sponsoring ladieswear, Designer at Debenhams are sponsoring menswear and Hobbs are delighted to be backing the accessories designer. In addition we are bubbling with excitment over the confirmation that Topshop are also sponsoring the Profile 5 event with a new designer award for rising stars.


A prize of £5,000 will be presented to one of the designers showcasing at the event. It just gets better each season.


 


We are also delighted to welcome an additional partner to The Welsh Clothing and Textile Association and NW Textiles collaboration.


Huddersfield Textiles with the support of Bill MacBeth is now on board too!


True networking for the industry…….at last!


 


As always there will be a internet cafe for www.fashioncapital.co.uk and where we will be proud to showcase the new features on the site inclding the Museum section which already has over 400 images available to veiw.


Hope you like the new super-improved layout and format – there have been blood, sweat and tears behind that part of the site and absolute credit to Alec and Gareth from FollowMe-Technologies for pulling out all the stops!


 


It’s great also to see that the reputation of fashioncapital continuously growing and we are now being approached by a wide cross section of other organisations to work with. The latest of which is www.intothestorm.com who has provided us with a great feature on trends and styles.

Finally thanks for all the great feedback we have received on the moodboards – they take for ever as you can imagine and all information is carefully screened. All work is original and we sift through oceans of literature to ensure that we provide a balanced reflection of trends and styles.  A big well done to Vanessa who is our colour guru!
