A unique opportunity has arisen for businesses in the Haringey area.

Rev up, a 2 year funded programme to help businesses succeed in the NDC community, has devised a totally innovative project to genuinely help fashion businesses achieve sales as well as that all important press and PR for their label.

We are delighted to announce that there is now a unique opportunity for 6 people, based in the NDC area, to showcase and sell their collection at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham at the NEC from 4^th – 9^th December. Full article and expression of interest form

FC to attend Trend Union presentation

Li Edelkoort is one of the world's most renowned trend forecasters and twice a year FashionCapital is invited to attend her presentation of the future colour, fashion and lifestyle trends.

‘MonoBODY – Burlesque becomes important in clothing, tight corsetry plays an important role. Dita Von Teese.  Focusing on the torso, embroidery, fetish leotard, Audrey Hepburn and all in one body with high heels.  Using just the torso over pants and dresses.
Colours: Dusky pinks, pastels and light greys.’

Lots to report from The Showroom this week!

One ladieswear designer whose stock has been so well received in the well know department store Bentalls, has had a second order.

Everything is progressing well with the leading mail order catalogue after a successful meeting with their Buying Team recently.

Tomorrow sees an important meeting with high street giant Topshop so watch this space… and lastly we are delighted to announce that the asos.com Jacket project will be launched next week on the homepage of asos.com.

A huge thank you to asos.com for all their amazing support and belief in our designers. It’s fantastic that they invest time and money in new and emerging design talent and we look forward to continuing to work with the leading etailer.

Jade Mead – Boutique Manager

Jade started working at Fashion Enter when it first launched in 2006, it was her first job and she has come a long way since first starting.

Jade is now venturing out to another part of the Fashion Enter world and has become Manager of the Fashion Enter Boutique and Fashioncapital.co.uk Concession. This has been a fantastic experience for Jade and she hopes to have many more exciting experiences.

With help from Fantastic aspiring photographers, make up artists, stylists this months styling event in Croydon was a complete success.

The girls ended up looking stunning and showing off our designers’ garments fantastically!
