NEWSLETTER

Dear all,

We are changing!

Here at FashionCapital we are constantly reviewing our functions and our performance

As a genuine not for profit company we pride ourselves on being the best we can but we are also a victim of the cutbacks with funding regimes and I turn this affects the services we can offer

At the moment our membership is £399 plus VAT however members receive a lot of support for that yearly figure with information and advice on tap when required

FashionCapital is therefore giving two weeks notice that there will be amends and changes going forward as of end September 2011 that will also be reflected in the price charges for membership

An internal review is currently taking place examining all sections of the membership offer and as of end September a new membership will be in place with reduced services and a reduced price

Existing members holding a full membership will be still be valid until the expiry date of the full membership

Onwards and upwards!

In the Press!

This week we have been all over the press with some fantastic pieces in leading national publications which is great exposure for not only FashionCapital but also our designers. Take a look:

The latest from British Designers @ FashionCapital Bath

Last Thursday Milsom Place invited women a unique ‘Dress to Impress’ event; an evening soiree to browse the latest collections while enjoying wine, nibbles, goodie bags and mini-treats. Here at British Designers our resident make-up artist extraordinaire Sophie Bee demonstrated the latest modern-60s look while new label Masato took centre stage with an exclusive selection of designs. Masato Jones currently assists Giles Deacon as well as working for Ghost and is tipped as one-to-watch over the next few seasons. Now into his second collection Masato’s 10-piece capsule collection is now stocked in Bath and some designs are exclusive to the boutique. Check out our Masato window and his designs as worn by Emma! Thanks to Sophie Bee, Shoot DHS, Tim Baker, Bert’s Photography and Emma Ewer for a fun evening.

We have been closely following the New York shows online and look forward to the London Fashion Week action due to kick off this week. Boutique designers on show include: PPQ, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Christian Blanken, Bora Aksu and Hemyca.

More from Fashion Week next time.
