Apprenticeship Open Day
Yesterday an open day for the Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship programme took place at The Fashion Studio. It was an opportunity for both candidates and employers to come along and learn more about the Level 3 and Level 4 programme and discuss their needs and expectations.
We had a fantastic turn out with 25 potential apprentices, Creative Skillset and employers such as River Island and Cad and Dandy all attend. Here are just a few comments from the day:
‘It was great to be at your Open Day today and to meet the River Island crew and other employers who may potentially come on board…. Thanks so much for organising it all, it was so good to see your work in action.’ Creative Skillset
‘I am happy I attended the Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship open day as it has given me an insight to what I’d learn and how it can help me on my career path. I found this extremely helpful as I was able to see apprentices in their working environment. We are now setting up interviews with employers such as Jonathan Saunders, Marios Schwab and Cad and Dandy.

The Factory Open Day – 14th February
We love manufacturing!
Come and celebrate the opening of our new factory this Valentines Day! On 14th February we will be welcoming guests to come and review the new premises where we are anticipating production levels of 7,500 each week.

Designers – there is still time to apply for representation at the Fashion & Textiles 2013 exhibition in Latvia this year!
FashionCapital has been invited to exhibit at one of the most important events in the fashion and textile industry in the Baltics. From 19th – 21st April we will be representing a carefully selected cross section of UK designers in Riga at the 18th international textile, clothing, leather garments and production equipment exhibition Fashion & Textile 2013(formerly known as Intertextil Balticum).
To be considered for representation you must be ready with your collection, a confirmation of order sheet, range plan, wholesale price list, look book and business cards.
