Clothes Show Live 2009!

With less than 3 weeks to go everyone is getting excited for the world’s largest fashion and beauty event ever! Clothes Show Live 2009 promises to be huge and we are delighted that the FashionCapital.co.uk boutique will be once again wowing shoppers with its eclectic mix of up and coming designers!

This week a meeting will take place with the Show Manager to discuss the Profile catwalk show. Watch this space to find out who will make it onto the catwalk!

ASUS Design Competition

FashionCapital and ASUS have launched a competition!

Want to win a state-of-the-art Laptop computer? Got design skills to show off?

Design an innovative, fashionable way to carry a laptop…

All you need to do is sketch/draw or even animate your idea and send it to us at asus@fashioncapital.co.uk.

We will upload the images onto our site and invite all FashionCapital readers to get involved and let us know what they think.

We have received lots of applications and are very excited about the prospect of seeing the lucky designers work made up in leather which will be supplied by world renowned leather manufacturer Pitttards. Meet the latest contributor to join FC

Laura Beaney – Laura is a twenty-two year old, third year Journalism student at Staffordshire University specialising in Fashion Journalism. Whilst studying she has gained valuable experience working in the PR head office of the fashion label, Warehouse (Arcadia group) as well as working in the modelling and promotions industry for a range of high profile brands from Blackberry to Banana Moon. Next year Laura plans to continue her education at the London College of Fashion with an MA in Fashion Journalism.
