Profile – 8th September – May Fair hotel
We have already received a record number of entries but there is still time to get your application in! If you are a designer and would like to showcase your collection at the prestigious May Fair Hotel on 8th September 2011 to an exclusive guest list of press and buyers please fill out the expression of interest form here and return to jenni@fashion-enter.com. A screening date will be set soon so be prepared to present your samples to a panel of industry experts.
How to succeed in Fashion Today – 25th May
The next day for Fashion Enter’s all day seminar is confirmed as 25th May and will take place at the W1 boutique with a visit to the Workshop in the afternoon to meet with the Production Manager.
The seminar will consist of a series of guest speakers and the Fashion Enter team will be revealing their expert industry knowledge. The seminar is ideal for designers thinking about becoming a member with Fashion Enter as it provides an opportunity to meet with the team and learn about the services and support available to them. The day also offers a unique insight in topics such as production, marketing, important documentation and how to maximise sales.

Jane and Marilyn
The latest designer label to join the W1 boutique is Jane and Marilyn – providing grown up glamour for real women. Here they are taking prime position with the Joan dress in Royal blue:
Born out of a desire for a feminine but grown up and sophisticated kind of glamour, the collection is the creation of two experienced businesswomen and best friends – Jane and Marilyn. Taking inspiration from the partnership of Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe and the gorgeous clothes of that era, the brand should appeal to women of all ages. Echoing the flattering, elegant style of the 1950’s, the designs accentuate the waist, glide over the hips and embrace curves.

In the news: South West Womenswear Design Competition Winner Joshua Riches will feature the Bath Chronicle this week and samples of his designs are being made up at the Workshop as we speak.
This Saturday 14th photographer and film maker Michael Stylianou will be shooting designs from the boutique – come down and have a look at a fashion shoot in progress 10am – 4pm.
New in at the boutique; fresh jewellery pieces from sustainable jewellery brand Le Ju, vibrant summer print dresses and separates from Zoe Boomer and essential linen separates from the Belles of London.
Drop in and discover a unique find.

Charity Jumble Sale
FashionCapital are proud to be sponsoring a charity jumble sale to raise some funds to help those people in Japan who have lost absolutely everything after the recent earthquake, tsunami AND the nuclear danger crisis.
