The Tick
Fashion Enter has been awarded The Tick by Creative Skillset!
The Creative Skillset Tick is a kitemark of quality indicating the courses and apprenticeships best suited to prepare you for a career in the Creative Industries.
For a course or apprenticeship to be awarded the Creative Skillset Tick, you can be sure that it has undergone a rigorous assessment process conducted by experts working in the Creative Industries. They only give the Tick to those courses and apprenticeships that have the strongest links with industry.
This ensures that the courses keep up with the rapid pace of creative change, and students benefit from using the latest technologies and working with industry throughout their studies.
This is fantastic news for our Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship programme. We are now the largest providers in the country for the Level 3 and Level 4 framework.
National Apprenticeship Week
Taking place from 11th – 15th March, the sixth annual National Apprenticeship Week will celebrate Apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the economy. More than 800 promotional events run by employers and supporters of Apprenticeships are expected to take place throughout England during the Week.
Haringey Jobs and Careers Fair – 13th March
As part of the National Apprenticeship Week Fashion Enter will be attending the Haringey jobs and careers fair on 13th March to offer advice and guidance on the fantastic opportunities available on the Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship programme.
Creating the Future – 14th March
On 14th March Creative Skillset will celebrate the launch of the first ever Higher Level Apprenticeships in advertising & marketing communications, creative & digital media and fashion & textiles.
Apprentices from Fashion Enter will be attending and taking part in this informal and interactive event, showcasing the outstanding work apprentices can do for businesses!
The event is hosted by Stephen Woodford, Creative Skillset Board of Directors and Chairman, adam&eveDDB.
Apprenticeships T-shirt launched ahead of National Apprenticeship Week
Fashion Enter was asked to join a panel of expert judges for the apprenticeship t-shirt competition.
Twenty-five up-and-coming designers studying at the Fashion Retail Academy submitted entries for the National Apprenticeship Week t-shirt design competition which was judged by an expert panel made up of industry figures and the National Apprenticeship Service.
The winning design, by Jessica Tshoukas, depicts a white hot air balloon on a black background with the words ‘the sky’s the limit’ spelled out in a trailing rope.

Preview in DAEGU
Fashion Enter is currently in South Korea as part of a delegation visiting the International Textile Fair in Daegu.
Preview In DAEGU is a global marketplace for textile business as well as presenting the latest fashion and trends.
More than 250 exhibitors around the world present their up-to-dated fabrics, which is ready-to-use for garment, accessories, industrial uses and various applications. Jenny is making some fantastic contacts out there and today is just the first day!

Ex Remploy Staff
Following the training of the ex-Remploy staff we are delighted to welcome Monica Thomas, Robert Taylor and Lalji Sivaji as full time employees at Fashion Enter. Monica is based at The Fashion Studio as a sample machinist and Robert and Lilji are both at The Factory as packers. All are doing a fantastic job!
