Bank of Scotland donate computers to Fashion Enter
The latest development of the Fashion Enter boutique in Croydon is that downstairs will now be converted into a training suite with 10 computers and the Bank of Scotland has kindly offered to donate two computers and a printer.
This follows Fashion Enter in the final countdown for £6 Million Social Entrepreneur Awards! Last year in association with The Sunday Times, The Bank of Scotland, launched the £6 Million Social Entrepreneur Awards to recognise and reward the UK's most ambitious Not for Profit organisations.

Jaeger at LCF
FashionCapital has been invited to attend the Jaeger exhibition at London College of Fashion tomorrow in celebration of the most quintessentially British brand reaching 125 years. Amy de la Haye and Judith Clark, Joint Course Directors of MA Fashion Curation at LCF, have co-written Jaeger 125, a beautiful coffee table book that captures the changing face of Jaeger. Amy and Judith have also curated the exhibition at LCF which brings the book alive with archive pieces and the most recent Jaeger catwalk collections.
The exhibition is open to the general public from 27th April to 29th May, Monday – Friday 10am – 5pm. Admission Free.
The Face of Barking and Dagenham
The modelling competition which took the East London borough by storm last year and flew winner Yasmeen Robinson to New York City to model in NY Profile is set to make a return! Once again in association with Vicarage Field Shopping Centre's Model Search, the competition will be on the hunt for the next big name in the modelling industry! EU's official statisticians; Eurostat's showed a record reduction in retail sales over the last 12 months, down by 4.2% between March 08 and 09 portraying the diminishing consumer confidence with retail sales across the whole EU falling by 3.1%. The inevitable unemployment figures show 8.9% up from 8.7% from February of the working population are out of work in the EU now at 20million individuals. Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia saw the largest retail sales reduction down by 27.3%, 21.1% and 16.6% respectively.
