Clothes Show London

After the success of Clothes Show Live in Birmingham we are delighted to announce that the FashionCapital boutique will be returning to Clothes Show London this year! The dates are 25^th – 27^th June and will be taking place at Earls Court. We will be taking 20 stands and have been given an excellent position due to the growing popularity of our designers! CAD/CAM course 18^th January

One of the major costs for any designer today in the expense of making patterns and then grading the approved S12 fit. So as always FashionCapital has devised a concept to genuinely help the designer today!
 
The Workshop (factory based in Haringey London) will be holding its 5 day training programme on CAD/CAM for Pattern Making and Grading on 18^th January for one week.

Places will be limited to ensure each participant has the full attention to detail given! Courses to start in the New Year – a new year and a new challenge that will save you money and improve your direct skills for designer collections. Croydon Boutique

With 2010 Croydon Boutique has decided that it is time for a change and has now collaborated with menswear label Stateless. The boutique now has a more modern touch and has that edge to attract all type of clientele.

Designers that will not be showcasing in Croydon boutique must collect their stock with immediate effect from Croydon. Please contact Jade@fashion-enter.com to arrange collection. If the garments are not collected by Friday 15^th January then the items will be disposed of.

Stitch in Time

Now 2010 is upon us, what better way to kick start the year than upgrading/developing transferable skills in fashion, business and personal development with a view to securing long term full time employment. The Stitch in Time course is 4 weeks in total starting with 2 weeks in house training followed by a 2 week work placement with an employer depending on your strengths and the direction you wish to take in fashion. With industry giants; Jaeger and Aquascutum on board, this really is an opportunity that would be very difficult to obtain otherwise. The PR dispensary with Fashion Capital is currently under review and will be totally revitalised for the new decade! Members will be given priority and offered the service at a discount rate however release of your tailor made press release will only be given if you are ready and your label reaches our standards. For those who are not ready business support and advice is given as part of your membership to get you to the right level. Further information on the PR Dispensary package will be released soon! Enter the Dynamic age of Club meets Fashion!

FashionCapital is set to join forces with Dynamic Models this year to hold exclusive fashion shows at top London clubs each month!

Designers will have the chance to see their garments on quality models and gain valuable exposure to not just potential customers but also press and potentially Buyers, as well as select Celebrities, starting from end January 2010. This will provide an ideal opportunity for the designers involved to have professional images for their Press and Look Books for a fraction of the true cost, plus invite any customers and clients they may already have to enjoy an evening out at clubs such as the Embassy in Central London. A nominal cost will apply for the use of the models, hair, make-up, production and photographer, but will include a free image of their favourite model and outfit.
