This is just the start for attracting the big names in fashion and beauty today and the crew from Fashion Enter (sister company to FashionCapital) are off to Chicago in February to meet press and buyers and visit the Style Max show with our agent Yolanda Duckworth

STYLEMAXâ„¢ runs four times a year, covering all seasons, and reviews the latest trends in global fashion. STYLEMAX is a women’s apparel and accessory trade show and showcases over 4,000 brands in more than 200,000 square feet on the 7th floor of The Merchandise Mart in Chicago.

We are also delighted to confirm that we have secured a new contract to deliver the Manufacturers Appreciation Workshop which will run between January and March this year. The course is free to registered designers who have the following post codes N19, NW1, NW3, NW5, NW6, NW8, W1,WC1, E2, E5, E8, E9, E15, EC2, N1 N16, EC1,N5, N7 N19,WC1, E1,E14.  The course is unique and will involve quality handouts and information packs which will enable designers to paste their own logos and address details on, a visit to a quality CMT unit with full instruction from the Manager on how to work with manufacturers, a visit to the London Apparel Resource Centre (LARC) and also a visit to Topshop’s head office to meet the Production Director. This workshop is one of its kind and provides a total overview of the production process. It has to be mentioned here that, in true collaborative sprit,  LARC and Fashion Enter are working together to deliver this unique programme. Hurry spaces are limited – only 35 are available.

We are also offering a new service to the users of FashionCapital…online mentoring. How exciting is that! We are just setting up a new system which will allow us to have ten people at a time participate in a Web Video Meeting (online conferencing). Each month we will be  holding mentoring sessions on line for the cost of £20 plus VAT and you can fire away with burning questions until your hearts are content! The system will be live by the end of January.    

Finally a big well done to A Brighter Future. The jewellery has been on sale at the Enter Boutique for the last three weeks and the stock has been flying out the doors. Its been great to work with Sarah and Donna on the project and we are looking forward to the workshop at the end of January.
