Made for Leather Competition with Pittards
Yesterday, at the Pittards Factory in Yeovil, Fashion Enter and Pittards judged the entries for the 'Made for Leather' Competition. It was extremely difficult to select the 10 finalists as all the work was such of a high standard. In all it took three long hours for the decision to be made and so here are the 10 finalists… 1. Amelia Price 2. Ginature Jankuniene 3. Anya Wilkinson 4. Sarah Hogden 5. Charlene Grandison 6. Nicola Desnoes 7. Frances Ekiko 8. Kate Winskill 9. Cathy Li 10. Claire Mischevani Now we will need to decide from the 10 finalists the 'winner'. The winner will be announced at Clothes Show on the 5th December. Discussions will then be held between the winning designer and Pittards for the winner to work on a freelance basis designing for the Pittards brand.

Fashion Enter and Pittards would also like to say a special thank you to the following applicants who entered the competition… 1. Ashleigh White 2. Carla Tieku 3. Diana Daraselia 4. Jessica Austin 5. Kika Holanda 6. Laura Ockenden 7. Marco Duarte 8. Natalie Johnson 9. Nueza Loio 10. Naomi Johnson 11. Nephertiti Smith 12. Olga Papadopoulos 13. Sinjita Reinfelde 14. Yvon Modu 15. Ye Eun Choi The Saga continues with Bournemouth Council… Another week has passed and still no word from Bournemouth's Leader of the Council Stephen MacLoughlin. As recent as yesterday evening we received a call from Councillor Phil Stanley Watts. He is now looking to bring together all parties concerned to find a way forward for the Boutique at The Royal Arcade. To read Vanessa's weekly South West blog click here

Showroom Update
I am so sorry to advise the both meetings scheduled for today have both been postponed last minute!
John Lewis apologised for the short notice but has asked to postpone their meeting late yesterday evening as they have many deadlines to meet before Christmas and that if they do come in today that they will not be able to offer the time required. So I am afraid we have not a new date in the dairy for this one as yet and I would think that it would be unlikely before Christmas. But we have also offered to go to their offices so I will let you know as soon as there are any further developments.
Browns Focus apologised for the short notice early this morning but a meeting with their Director has come up so they will now be coming in Friday afternoon; so I hope that you are all happy to keep your collections here until then. Collections will then be available to collect the following Monday if required.
Can I also thank all of you for getting your collections to me in good time and I know it's frustrating when this happens and if any of you showing for John Lewis only need to collect your collections then please call to let me know.
