Megan Cook – Boutique Manager at Croydon
She will be looking to rejuvenate the store and add a fresh lease of life to the boutique. Look out for a new and exciting feel to the boutique.
“I really enjoyed working with FE during the BDC and formed great working relationships with both Vanessa and Jenny. I am delighted to continue working with FE and I have lots of exciting ideas to really make the retail section of FE work for the designers and for FE too. I look forward to meeting all the designers shortly.
Since the age of seven Meg has been determined to be part of the fashion industry. Five years of fashion studies fuelled this passion further. Studying for a national diploma in fashion and passing with a Distinction, she then went on to graduate in 2009 with a BA HONS in fashion at DeMontford University.
Meg has a wide range and depth of experience in retail at the high end of the market and al the high street level. Her fashion background has helped her to develop her retail skills to a very high level and hence the new British designer collective at Bicester village is a perfect match for the skills of Meg.
Whilst studying for her degree she encompassed a wide range of experiences to underhand how the different sectors worked and aligned together. Meg worked for Oxfam boutiques as an intern assistant buyer which then opened up new avenues of fashion. Originally thinking fashion buying was the area of industry she wanted to progress in , she then began to realise that being creative and passionate was important to her as was engaging with customers and ensuring that sales are maximised in store-the combination of creativity with business.
We look forward to Megan joining us at Fashion Enter!
