Brexit, Ethics & Innovation at Autumn’s Fashion SVP

fashion svp nov 16Organiser IDEX have announced its Fashion SVP programme for the popular Sourcing Briefing seminar series taking place at Olympia, London 15th & 16th November 2016.

The programme, which runs throughout the two-days of the show, features leading industry experts tackling topical issues facing brands, retailers and the sourcing community.

Brexit and its impacts will feature in two sessions. Michael Wolff, MD at J4 Apparel and former CEO of Fielding Group, will present an overview of some of the opportunities presented by Brexit and a dynamic panel session, including both Wolff and Musto. President Nigel Musto will discuss the impact of current uncertainty and the post-Brexit landscape after Spring 2019.

svp audienceWays to achieve more profitable sourcing and meeting the demands of the season will be presented by Michael Conway, CEO, Quayside, while Jenny Holloway, CEO at social enterprise Fashion Enter will focus on getting the supply chain right for more effective sourcing.

Elissa Lloyd, Head of Quality & Sourcing at White Stuff, will examine the key issues from an ethical and commercial standpoint – can the circle be squared?

Martin Bowler, Director of Shima Seiki, one of the largest manufacturing machinery suppliers, will unveil new advanced technology enabling brands to go straight from the design process to the factory.

Other topics covered will be essential sessions on Cost control & negotiation, Sourcing and Supply Chain as a career and more, relevant to the sourcing and production professional.
