After the success of The Collection at Amika and Vendome, Edge Models and FashionCapital are teaming up again for an avant-garde fashion show at Merah, London.

This trendy club is based just off Oxford Street – the shopping centre of London.

 

 

The Collection – Avant-Garde will be taking place on 16th September and we have space for a few more designers – this show will be taking place directly

before London Fashion Week – the perfect time to showcase as press and buyers flock to London from all over the world.

 

 

 

The Collection is in association with www.edgemodels.co.uk and is all about promoting fresh designer and model talent!

In April, FashionCapital launched the collection in Vendome, Mayfair – this was an amazing event with a guest list of over 300 people including press and buyers – the next show was a Summer Showcase that took place in Amika, haunt of celebrities such as P Diddy and actresses from The Hills.

The Collection is a very effective way to showcase to industry and consumers in a relaxed, chic atmosphere.

Guests are greeted with a cocktail reception before the show begins and invited to stay and enjoy the star studded club afterwards!

 

To showcase in The Collection fashion show costs designers £150 +VAT.

This covers the costs of models, styling, organisation, guest list access for the designer and friends/colleagues/family etc and a set of catwalk images for the designers to keep as well as access to the professional film of the show.

The Collection is a huge project that pulls together two great talent focussed organisations and delivers a night to remember!

July The collection went very well here is a little reminder of how it went…

 

Opening the show was a selection of long flowing gowns from Ariella. Ariella are an award winning couture dress making company, operational for over 40 years and still looking to break into new consumer markets.
The dresses are stunning, stalking down the catwalk come an array of peacock colours in silk and satin, shimmering with sequin detail and embellishment – these dresses open the show perfectly and add such an exclusive edge to the show – applause is heard for the dresses as the audience sound their appreciation for the gorgeous garments.

 

 

Next, the colourful collection from Dancing Dolls. Dancing Dolls is a fresh, funky, made to measure dancewear brand, branching now into swimwear. The collection features a range of innovative shapes prints and colours. Cut out suits mix with stringy bikinis, retro style, side tied bathing suits and one stunning piece is a Lady GaGa –esque hooded white suit with cut out sections and a deep plunging neck – the hood is supported by a huge afro hair style sported by the gorgeous Samar.
