Design For Business Advantage

The event is aimed at companies engaged in all aspects of the fashion and textile business. Leading Universities and Colleges displayed the different ways they can assist companies to gain competitive advantage by utilising the design skills of their graduates, post graduates and current students.

Now in its third year,  it has gathered momentum as a unique contribution to the world of business and education, and is now firmly established in the annual calendar.

Jenny Holloway commented, 'An excellant event that combines true creativity in art form. It was very encouraging to see the event so well supported by industry and an absolute pleasure to meet Carolyn Springet,  Trading Director for Jaeger who I used to work with in my old M&S days, Eimear Hawker from Topshop and Jim Stocks.'

Jenny further commented, 'we have recently reviewed the Skin + Bones exhibition and this event was very reminiscent of the combination of architecture and form with creativity. Congratulations to the Institute of Textiles for hosting such a fantastic event.'
