Alexa Chung appointed Young Ambassador

The winner of the British Style Award at the British Fashion Awards for two years running, Alexa Chung, has been appointed with a new role as Young Style Ambassador.

Already attending such events as London Fashion Week and The British Fashion awards – only two of the many attended by the fashion icon; she will continue this support as well as using her new role of Style Ambassador to promote the talent of up and coming British fashion designers. Alexa has spoken of her adoration towards the British fashion portraying how proud she is to have the title as well as it being her official job “to champion those London designers both new and established that inspire me so much.”

Acknowledging the impact of Chung’s influence on the public due to her distinctive style, Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council comments, “We’re delighted to announce this role for Alexa. She is hugely influential in both the fashion industry and to the wider public.”
