Fashion Enter’s The Factory welcomes ASOS and The Prince’s Trust
18-04-2012
One such designer will be Nayla Adams talking about illustrating and print design. From 2:15pm to 5pm, the people invited will be learning about the different roles within the factory and the different stages of production, giving them something to think about for future careers. There will also be the opportunity to learn about Fashion Enter’s very own Fashion & Textiles Apprenticeship, something which ASOS is also involved in, by providing work placements for the apprentices.
Fashion Enter The Factory
The Prince’s Trust was set up in 1976 to provide practical and financial support to young people. The charity helps develop key skills, confidence and motivation, providing a platform to work, education and training. ASOS became a four year patron for The Prince’s Trust last year and has been working with the charity supporting Get Started with Fashion, an initiative set up as a personal development course for young people. Over 10% of ASOS colleagues have been a part of this for the past year.
Regular activities are run by ASOS for The Prince’s Trust. This coming week sees young people learning about the fashion industry and expanding their knowledge to help them for the future, something The Prince’s trust concentrates on. From learning how to write a CV to using creativity to customise an outfit to learning about marketing and branding, ASOS and The Prince’s Trust have it covered.
