Presenting guests with the opportunity to see the lifecycle of a fashion garment through our displays and hands-on opportunities, our Fashion Studio team gave live demonstrations which showcased our Stitching Academy and production capabilities. On Sunday, we were joined by some of our Stitching Academy and Perfect Patterns students, who were on hand to answer questions about the courses they are studying.

Here at FashionCapital and Fashion Enter we were extremely proud to see June Sarpong show her new brand collection Ldny, which supports the United Nations Trust Fund campaign #orangedress. The Role Models show featured a catwalk full of inspirational, empowering and influential women including Kelly Hoppen MBE, Sophie Walker and Chloe Macintosh to name a few. Our students and apprentices have been working extremely hard with June over the past few months since they were hand picked by June herself following a selection of interview stages hosted at our factory.

catwalkOver the three days we were also fortunate enough to be interviewed by London Live and Shoreditch Radio who both wanted to find out more about what we offer in terms of manufacturing, education and support for new and upcoming designers.

On the event, CEO Jenny Holloway stated: “Best of Britannia was a great networking event for us and we definitely had quality traction with the attendees there. We have live interventions now with various small brands and there are lots of individuals who are interested in our Stitching Academy and Perfect Pattern courses. In addition, we met Greg Tufnell from Prime Advantage Advisory. We all thoroughly enjoyed meeting other exhibitors including our client Parasol Rose who exhibited her beautiful silk lingerie. Thank you Joe – a super event which was made even more special by the launch of June Sarpong’s collection Ldny.”
