It was great to officially launch the Leicester Made Directory at the Meet & Greet event Athena last week (16th June 2022.)

Leicester Made is a free to use online directory for anyone, UK or overseas, who would like to source and make in Leicester.

Leicester is at the heart of textiles and garment making in the UK, and has a diverse mix of talented and ethically minded businesses. This directory showcases a selection of these businesses ranging from; printers, knitwear manufacturers, fashion houses through to fabric, embroidery and label services. Leicester truly offers the full end-to-end supply base for textiles and garment making.

It features businesses such as Barcode Design. As well as company info, services and recent audits Barcode Design have their own online shop linked to the Leicester Made website. Their shop currently features 24 styles that can be shipped directly to you. This really is the future for on-demand shopping – direct from manufacturer to consumer.

They have embraced new approaches and been involved on all aspects of the Fund.
