Fashion & Textiles Workshops – Leicester
03-12-2024
As we announced late last year LLEP (Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership Area) will continue to work with FashionCapital’s sister company, Fashion Enter, on a series of workshops and training with the local garment manufacturers to improve their productivity and efficiency.
Leicestershire has over one and a half thousand businesses employing almost 10,000 people within the region and has recently experienced an enormous growth in the number of people employed in the sector. The first textiles sector specific workshop, ‘Ethical & Social Compliance’ took place earlier this month and was delivered by Fast Forward. The workshop proved very successful and was well attended by representatives of local fashion and textiles manufacturers.
Fashion Enter CEO, Jenny Holloway, will deliver the ‘Improving Profitability’ on Tuesday 27 March 2018. This workshop will prepare Fashion and Textiles manufacturers to improve business profitability through efficiency in processes, improving productivity, effective use of resources and accurate costings.
Attendees will learn:
- Identifying areas for improvement
- Improving productivity
- Optimising available resources
- Performance improvement Techniques
- Accurately costing the garment manufacturing
Places at the workshop are free for Leicester and Leicestershire-based fashion and textile manufacturers. The workshops are delivered under Collaborate Programme, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and partner organisations. To find out more and book click here.
