Source Fashion Partners with ATMF to Boost British Manufacturing

20-07-2025
Source Fashion, the UK’s leading sustainable sourcing trade show, is proud to announce a new and long-term partnership with the Apparel & Textile Manufacturers Federation (ATMF). This collaboration will highlight the strengths of UK-based garment and textile manufacturing, promoting ethical production, local supply chains, and sustainability.
As part of the partnership, ATMF will curate a showcase of UK manufacturers at the upcoming Source Fashion event, running 8 – 10 July, The Grand Hall, Olympia London, providing retailers and brands with direct access to suppliers committed to transparency, fair labour practices, and responsible sourcing. The initiative reflects Source Fashion’s mission to connect buyers with trusted British and international manufacturers that align with the highest standards of sustainability and ethics.
Founded in 2022, ATMF represents UK garment and textile manufacturers, primarily based in Leicester, a city with deep manufacturing roots. The federation supports the onshoring of production, shorter supply chains, and local job creation, all underpinned by high ethical and environmental standards. The partnership highlights Source Fashion’s drive to boost British manufacturing whilst building a more transparent and sustainable fashion supply chain — one that empowers local industry and meets the needs of conscious consumers.

Jenny Holloway, Chair, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity of showcasing the very best of ethical factories in Leicester. Source has grown tremendously over the last three events and in July the we will be highlighting the advantages available with British factories. The intention is to grow the presence of true genuine ethical factories in the future with Source. We do call upon the government to provide funding for overseas events too; we should all be proud of Made in the UK produced garments. Thank you to Hyve for this unique partnership.”
Suzanne Ellingham, Director of Source Fashion, commented: “Source Fashion is a platform that connects the buying community to great factories, we have always strived to create a safe buying space for our community and this partnership gives us the opportunity to showcase and support manufacturers in the UK. The UK is known for quality and reliability, two things that are becoming vitally important in the current climate. We look forward to introducing our European Buying community to the ATMF and the organisations it supports.”
The partnership represents a long-term commitment, and plans are already underway to expand ATMF’s presence at the February 2026 edition of Source Fashion, further strengthening the platform for UK ethical manufacturing. Source Fashion 8th-10th July, Olympia London
